Wildlife and nature have a great influence upon Barbara and are the inspiration for her art.  While growing up in West Virginia, she gained a great love for wildlife and beautiful scenery.  After living in Colorado for a number of years, she now resides in Virginia and spends much of her time in her secluded mountain studio on Big Walker Mountain.  It is here that her heart and life most intertwine while studying wildlife and its habitat.
